World-renown actor and comedian

World-renowned funny man, Jerry Lewis, has a serious side: as the National Chairman of Muscular Dystrophy
Association, USA for more than 50 years, he has contributed to raising more than US $2.4 billion towards the cause.

Jerry was engaged by the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) Australia to visit our shores to assist with the cause on a
global scale through raising awareness and generating much needed funds for the provision of services for people living
with Muscular Dystrophy.

Perfect Events was charged with managing the Gala Dinner for 1100 guests, incorporating engaging support entertainers
fitting to the calibre of Jerry Lewis, and ensure smooth operation of the event in full, including overseeing media interest in
the event, engaging sponsors and managing ticket sales.

The aptly ‘Las Vegas’ style event was held in the Peninsula, Atlantic at Docklands, with the event  completely sold out. Jerry
Lewis was supported by an all-star lineup, including Jimeoin, Matt Hollywood, Skarlet Blue, Mark Spano, Dejavu, MCs Vince
Colossimo and Tottie Goldsmith, and a live auction hosted by winner of The Apprentice Australia, Andrew Morello.

The night raised $900,000 for Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia, plus an additional $70,000 for the Father Bob
Maguire Foundation. The event was nominated as state finalist for Cause Related Event of the year, 2010, Meeting
Events Australia.
